Absolutely! We only bring in professionals who have been recommended and certified by experts. We conduct interviews, check referrals, licenses, and do background checks on each and every service provider. Only those professionals who pass our strict on boarding process are allowed to work with Service on Clap. All professionals are also required to complete an assessment test to verify their qualifications. Most of them have more than 8 years of experience in his/her field

We immediately arrange for a replacement and schedule a time convenient to you to do the job or register a cancellation of the service requested. You can track the location of all our service providers using the Service on Clap App on your phone. This would let you know how far the service provider is from the customer’s home.

We at Service on Clap understand that your time is valuable and are always striving to limit the time spent by service providers at your home. However the agents are trained to update you if the job might take longer than expected. Please do expect a buffer of half an hour more or less than the stated time to complete the task.

All supplies would be purchased by the service provider after consulting with you. We would assume basics such as ladder and cleaning cloth be available at your home. A bill would be provided for all the purchases made by the service provider.

While we highly recommend you register with us first, you could place a service request on our app without registering with us. You do not have to worry about unnecessary calls or messages from us. We have a strict policy against that practice.

After each service is completed, our customers are asked to rate the service on different parameters and judge the overall satisfaction of the service. You would also be allowed to rate a provider based on some parameters through our app if the service was requested from the app.

Using the App


Placing an order on the Service on Clap App is fast and simple Steps: Once you open the App on your Smartphone, choose the service you would like to order Enter your exact requirement along with a schedule that works best for you. The service provider will then arrive at your home and fix the issue. Our team might also call you before the visit.

You need to ensure that you've signed in with your email id that was used to place the orders to see them in the app. All orders that you place with us are tied to the email that you provide against the order.

Payment Related


You can now opt to pay using online payment options including credit card, debit card and net banking. We however, would highly recommend the wallet mode of payment. As always, you could choose to pay us by cash after the service.

Of course, you can. Just select the 'Option' tab and select the checkbox in the payment screen.

All the Service on Clap Money that you've earned along with your wallet balance powered by our wallet partner C would enable the wallet payment. Keep an eye out to know the ways to earn Service on Clap Money!

Payment option is shown only in the case of an order where the total price of the order is known. For services that either need an inspection or have a variable pricing, the payment option will not be available as the final amount of the order is yet to be determined. We're working on a solution to allow payment after the job.

You can always top up your wallet from the payment screen to top up your wallet balance and then proceed to pay. It is advisable to have your wallet sufficiently funded for a seamless experience.

We work with certified and experienced partners in managing your confidential information including saved cards among others. Your information is saved in an encrypted form and information sent over secure channels. Your information is therefore safe and secure.

We do not support this currently. However, we plan to support this shortly in the weeks to come.

Beauty

We send you top notch beauticians and high quality materials in the comfort of your home! You can watch your favorite TV show, keep an eye on the baby or help the kids with their study, all while Service on Clap beauticians get you groomed, ready and beautiful!

From wax heaters to pedicure tubs; from disposable gowns to nail paint remover- our beauticians carry everything in their magic bags! All you need to do is heat some water for us and be ready to be pampered!

Unlike usual home services, we do not leave the sourcing of the materials on the beauticians- we go out and pick every wax heater, every pedicure tub and each tube of hair color ourselves. And our partners - L'oreal for hair and Sara for skin, help us out! Every beautician is given a kit of materials she needs and she's ready to go!

Using the App


The safety of both - the customers as well as the beauticians - is paramount. We run a background check on all our beauticians before inducting them into our operations. We ensure that all service providers travel in twos and we also try to ensure that the last service for the day does not extend until late.

We provide services from 09 AM to 7 PM on all days a week

All our beauticians have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in Tier 1 Salons. Additionally, we organize training sessions for them every two months to hone their skills further! The beauticians may at time be accompanied by their understudies. These understudies however are there to assist the beauticians and not perform full-fledged services on customers

Home Cleaning

In Deep cleaning, our endeavor is to give your home a spa like treatment. A professionally trained crew equipped with state of the art machinery and eco-friendly chemicals (Taski®) will come for deep cleaning. A typical full home deep cleaning can easily take 6-8 hours depending on the size of the apartment & the amount of dirt. Our crew will clean every corner of your house, remove dirt & cobwebs, sanitize the place using the Taski® chemicals and focus extensively on removing stains & hard water marks. We try to remove stains on best effort basis. However, some stains might not go away.

Deep cleaning is done by professionally trained staff who spend more than an hour for just 1 bathroom cleaning. The service is also aided by Taski® chemicals & machinery. All of this along with the transportation cost of the team makes it a slightly expensive service. In comparison, a typical housemaid cleans up the entire home in less an hour using phenyl or similar chemicals also, please note that our prices include service tax.

To keep your home sanitized & clean from germs, we recommend deep cleaning service once every 3 months.

Using the App


Even though Deep cleaning is supposed to be an extensive exercise, there a few things which are not included in the service. Major exclusions are: Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, utensils cleaning, washing the clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & construction debris.

We do not use acid for cleaning service.

General cleaning is our express service wherein our professionally trained crew comes to your home and does the entire cleaning in a matter of 2-3 hours. General cleaning focuses on cleaning the dirt, germs, cobwebs & is more of a manual cleaning. We do not use scrubbing machine in this service. Our aim is to make your place more hygienic for your loved ones to live in.

To keep your home clean, we recommend our General cleaning service once every month.

We recommend Deep cleaning in following cases: 1. Moving into a new home 2. Your home is very dirty 3. House was recently painted 4. Recently moved into your old home 5. Before any auspicious ceremony (House warming ceremony)

We recommend General cleaning in following cases: 1. To keep your home sanitized & hygienic 2. Before & after hosting a party at your home 3. As a replacement to your daily cleaning needs.

Using the App


Major exclusions are: Mechanized scrubbing of the floors, Sofa shampooing, mattress shampooing, utensils cleaning, washing the clothes, cleaning the interiors of the kitchen appliances, kitchen closets & personal wardrobes, chandeliers & construction debris.

Our cleaning experts will not be washing the utensils and clothes. They are their only for your home cleaning needs. Also, any life threatening or dangerous work will not be carried out by our experts.

If you inform us about the cancellation 12 hours prior to the scheduled slot, there is not cancellation charge. However, for any cancellation within the last 12 hours, we charge a cancellation fee upto 50% of the job value.

Although our crew is professionally trained, background verified & thoroughly checked, still in case of any damage or theft, Service on Clap is not accountable. Our strong advice to you is to make sure that all your belongings are carefully kept in a secure location. Please make sure that any sensitive material is carefully moved under your supervision only. Also, when our team is leaving your premises, please make sure that you have thoroughly checked the entire home.

We charge a nominal fee upto of Rs. 250 towards inspection charges.

Plumbing

-All our Service Providers are among the best in market, each having an experience of around 10 - 15 years in the domain and hence their quality is miles ahead of the local technicians -We don't send random unverified service providers; all of them are background checked and police verified. Hence they are trusted & reliable. -We offer 7 days warranty on the work done. We would do the rework free of cost should a problem arise within 7 days of the work done by us.

It is absolutely safe for you to trust our Service Providers. All of them are background checked and police verified. Hence they are trusted & reliable. Our Operations team is always in constant touch with the SP when the work is being done.

We operate between 9 AM to 7 PM, 365 days in a year

We are working on it, we will soon be operational on early morning and late evening services

We offer a 7 day warranty from the date of invoice on all repairs. You need not pay Labor charges in case of a rework within that 7 day period. However, if any spare part/material is needed for rework, the cost would have to be borne by you.

Using the App


All our rates for Plumbing, Electrical & Carpentry are only for the Labor Charges. They do not include the cost of materials. Our Service Providers will tell you what all materials (spare parts) are needed. You can buy the materials by yourself, or our Service Provider will buy the same for you.

Service Providers will help you in the procurement of spare parts/materials from standard shops. However, Service on Clap is not responsible for the quality of the spare parts; it lies on the manufacturer/seller of the same. The Service Provider submits the original copy of the bill to you at all times. If this is not done. do ask for it.

There is no such thing called a minor work or major work. Our rates are dependent on the workmanship/skillset required and time needed to complete the work. However, the rates may not always be directly proportional to the time spent on the work.

We do not have hourly or day-wise rates. Our rates are dependent on the workmanship/skillset required and time needed to complete the work. However, the rates may not always be directly proportional to the time spent on the work.

You can have full faith in the quote provided by SoC or SoC service provider. Every single quote submitted to the customers are diligently checked and verified by our Operation Managers. However, if you still feel that the quote is on the higher side, you can always call up HJ and ask for a justification.

Pest Control

In the cockroach control treatment, the technician will apply an odorless spray of eco-friendly chemical along the corners of the walls & place gel in the cupboards. The entire process should take upto 30 minutes depending upon the level of infestation.

We do offer warranty but it varies across cities. Please check for warranty details while booking a job. However, we recommend you to go for an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) wherein we provide 3 or 4 (as selected) mandatory services over a period of one year to effectively keep the pests away.

We do not provide herbal treatment since we only use our standard materials.

In the Ant control treatment, the technician will apply a spray of eco-friendly chemical along the corners of the walls & place gel in the cupboards. The entire process should take upto 30 minutes depending upon the level of infestation.

We do not provide warranty on ant control.

Using the App


In the Bedbug treatment, we provide 2 compulsory services within an interval of 15 days. Our technician will do a fumigation process & spray eco-friendly chemical on the infested area/items (eg beds) in your apartment/house both the times. The entire process will take upto 1 hour.

As a safety precaution, you are requested to vacate the apartment/house for at least 12 hours. Also, we request you to wash all bed linen, curtains & other clothing articles that may have come in contact with the infested area/items.

We do offer warranty but it varies across cities. Please check for warranty details while booking a job.

In the Anti-Termite treatment, our technician will perform a 3 step process. He will drill holes at the junction of the wall & the floor of your house at a spacing of 1 ft each. These holes will be filled with a disinfectant chemical & then the holes are sealed using chalk & white cement. The whole process might take an entire day or more depending on the size of the house & the level of infestation.

We offer 1 year warranty on the Anti-Termite treatment. It may vary across cities and infestation level - please check before booking the service.

In mosquito control, we spray mosquito repellants inside your house/apartment. In extreme cases, we may carry out the fogging process.

There is no warranty on this treatment as the source of problem (eg stagnant water) is usually located outside the your house/apartment

We do rodent control using multiple types of Rodent traps (eg. Sticky glue pads, traps etc.). Also, we help you in identifying the possible location of entry & exit of rodent so that you can get it sealed properly in order to prevent it from happening again.

There is no warranty on this treatment.

Painting

Our expert normally reaches the customers place within 2 hour’s from the time of booking. If there is any delay from the allotted slot, a call is given in prior to inform our customers.

We do buy materials on request at the MRP of the particular item itself. However, we do not insist that only we purchase the item. The customer can always purchase and provide the materials to our providers.

All are serviced providers are well trained and experienced with a minimum experience of 5 - 10 years in the industry.

Service on Clap offers a free service if the same problem repeats itself within 30 days from the date of the service.

Yes. For major tasks (jobs taking more than 2 hours), we proceed only after we get the approval of the customer regarding the estimate of material or additional labor that might be required. If you reject the estimate, our expert would leave without any charge.

Air Conditioning

Wet service includes cleaning of the Filter and AC with water. For chemical cleaning please book Wet Service “with Chemical”

Wet Ac service includes washing and cleaning of the indoor unit's filter, external cleaning of indoor unit, cleaning of outdoor unit with water, blower and external cleaning of outdoor unit.

Dry AC service includes washing and cleaning of filter, cleaning of condenser and evaporator, internal dust removal and temperature check, pre and post cleaning

The charges mentioned are inclusive of taxes for the mentioned scope of work. In case where the scope of work is beyond general service, corresponding charges would be communicated before proceeding with the work.

The warranty on materials would be communicated separately on the material bill. Please insist for a material bill from the service provider in case he/she has helped you out in procuring the material. There is NO warranty on AC service, for all other services there is a 30 days service warranty.

You may choose to pay at the time of booking online or in cash after the service is delivered. We always suggest to pay online - It might give you exclusive discounts too! :)

Sure you may revise/modify your booking as per your convenience. For the summer offer - the modifications are limited to one per job only.

We accept most credit/debit cards, PAYTM, wallet and cash.

Please check if taking a service from external service providers would void your manufacturer warranty. If such is the case, please go ahead with an OEM service provider only.
